The Vice President of Nigeria now has a grandchild!
Yemi Osinbajo and his wife Dolapo became grandparents on Monday September 21, as their eldest daughter Oluwadamilola Osinbajo Bakare welcomed a son with her husband Oluseun Bakare.
The 63-year old public figure posted on social media a photo of the couple announcing the news. “All glory to GOD! I am now a grand dad! My daughter, Oludamilola and her husband Oluseun became parents to a wonderful baby boy this morning! ~YO,” he wrote.

Mrs Osinbajo also took to her official Instagram reposting the same photo of the new parents. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.” Psalm 127:3. All thanks and praise to God for His precious gift of a baby boy delivered today, to our children, Seun and Damilola Bakare. All glory to God.,” she wrote.
Oluwadamilola’s sister Kiki, described as a “newest aunty in town,” also congratulated the couple with the same photo. She wrote, “Congratulations are in order…… IM THE NEWEST AUNTY IN TOWN.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 congratulations to my big sister Dami & her husband (my brother) Seun…. may this child be a source of Joy always. Thank you Jesus 🙏🏾”
