Forbes has released its list of 34 men and women under 30 in Media list, these are young people building media companies of tomorrow. 22 of them are sole or co-founders of companies.
On the list is American born and bred Uzoamaka Maduka, the Co-founder of literary journal- The American Reader monthly, based in New York. Click Here to view website. She is born to Nigerian parents and raised in Maryland in the United States, the Princeton graduate decided to start a literary magazine, in print, at a time when most of her classmates were dreaming of launching hit apps.
According to a recent feature in the New York Times, “Uzoamaka is proof that even in this iPhone age, some paper-based dreams have not died: bright young things, it seems, are still coming to New York, smoking too much and starting perfect-bound literary journals”.
Uzoamaka co- founded The American Reader with boyfriend, Jac Mullen who also is a Princeton graduates.
