Is there any breakfast friendlier in the world than pancakes? We don’t think so.
These tender, fluffy food have all age appeal in the world, and they’re filled with healthy ingredients we want our kids to be eating especially the one made from oatmeal. Today’s cuisine focuses on food blogger Afrolems’ and her Quaker Oats pancake recipe which we had no choice than to share.
See the recipe below!
- 100 g of Quaker Oats (Unblended)
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup of Milk
- 2 tablespoons of Honey
- 1 Cooking spoon of Olive Oil
- Oil for frying (4 tablespoons total)
For the method of preparation, she says: “I mixed the dry ingredients in a separate bowl, the wet ingredients in another bowl and slowly
mixed everything together till a liquid but thick consistency was formed.
In a pan with a little drizzle of oil, I scooped my pancake batter into the pan and fried on low heat till both sides were brown and the pancake was cooked. I served my @Quaker Oats Pancakes with some more honey, grapes, nuts and grated coconuts.”
