One of the bakeries of famous french baker, Eric Kayser, Maison Kayser Nigeria is currently situated in the heart of Victoria island and the standard ambience combined with the taste of their pastries is second to none.
The well decorated cafe boasts a cross section of pastry including croissants, pain au chocolat, des chaussons aux pommes but the tastiness of their “Galette des Rois” cannot be over-emphasize.
Said to be a french pastry fit for Kings, this frangipane tart is made every year in France to mark the feast of the epiphany, which is when, allegedly, three kings came to give gifts to baby Jesus. There is also a little charm hidden inside the tart and whoever finds it gets to name their king or queen.
