How we don’t celebrate Porridge Plantain enough in Nigeria?

This dish is one of the delicious Nigerian cuisines that doesn’t appear often in any menu but is a household favourite.

Unripe Plantain Porridge or Plantain Pottage is easy to prepare, and it takes the same process as Porridge Yam, although, with a little twist and slight changes in ingredients.

Usually made with unripe plantain or a combination of ripe and unripe plantain to control the sweet taste. Its main ingredient is low in sugar and high in calcium. Add a fibre-rich vegetable of your choice to make the dish more nutritious.
