Obama Discusses Terrorism & Human Rights At Press Conference In Ethiopia


President Barack Obama says he is proud to be the first U.S. president to visit Ethiopia and that his trip underscores the importance the United States places on Ethiopia and all of Africa.

He spoke in Addis Ababa at a joint press appearance with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn after their talks Monday.

Obama said the U.S. will continue to work to advance Ethiopia’s economic progress, increasing access to electricity, of human rights and improving governance
