From being listed by Times 100 as one of the most influential people to now being featured in a UK Magazine called Stella, the Nollywood queen and philanthropist, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is making waves across the globe. The 35-year-old star is not breaking her stride in the climb of success that won’t be limited to Nigeria and was put on the cover of UK’s Stella Magazine, described as the “Queen of Nollywood: The Biggest Film Star You Never Heard Of”
The movie superstar was interviewed by Telegraph’s Ben Arogundade and she spoke on her family, career and a whole lot more. According to the interview, “Her reality-television show, Omotola: The Real Me, pulls in more viewers than Oprah’s and Tyra’s at their peak, combined, and she is the first African celebrity ever to amass more than one million Facebook “likes”.”
