Hello ‘Style Revolutionists’, as part of my travel and style diary this summer, last Saturday 18th of June, I had the opportunity to attend the closing of one of Britain’s most prestigious annual events the ‘Royal Ascot’. This was my second time of attending the Britain’s most valuable race meeting, with some of the world’s top racehorses.

Royal Ascot is synonymous with sartorial elegance. This is upheld by the dress code, which invites guests to contribute to an occasion heralded as a major fashion event in its own right.

The dress code is traditional, which is woven into the very fabric of the event’s history. The Queen of England was also in attendance as her traditional royal carriage procession heralds the start of the races.

For the fashionable day out, I opted for this custom-made lace dress from Nigerian luxury designer- Lanre DaSilva Ajayi. I absolutely love it.
