Oh my goodness! These past five days have London Fashion Week (LFW), have been fun. Just in case you missed my diary from the last four days, visit the Ono’s Diary section here!
Every year LFW brings something new, though I actually preferred the Somerset House venue to the current Brewer Street Car Park one because it had that stylish look and feel however, the runway collections were very much creative and inspiring.
Though I was not able to attend the last day of the shows, it has been an amazing five days.
Yes, fashion week is glamorous but it is also quite hectic as all the shows and presentations are not in one venue. Brewer Street Car Park is the main venue but different designers runway shows and presentations take place around the city. This simply means running around London in heels. I am truly exhausted and my feet sure hurts like hell… Then I still have to head back to my desk to get work done. I have now jumped back into my 15-18 hour days behind my computer posting contents on the website, the not so glamorous part of my job you don’t really get to see.
So, on my last day Tuesday 20th September, I visited the NEWGEN Pop-Up Showroom to view the Molly Goddard presentation.
My look for the day is this embellished black top from Lanre DaSilva Ajayi (@lanredasilvaajayi) which I wore with black culottes. My accessories include a silver pair of Gedebe pumps and a Chanel Classic handbag.
Watch out for my report on trends I loved from LFW coming up soon.
