After weeks of waiting and wondering about Oba Enitan Ogunwusi and Prophetess Naomi‘s baby boy, we finally have the answers we were hoping for!
On Thursday, the Ooni of Ife shared the name of his Prince for the first time, not with the baby’s photos but instead gifts he’s received. And for the record, yes, this update was totally worth the wait.
Taking to social media, the monarch, who welcomed his son with Olori Silekunola on November 18, revealed his name as “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II.”
According to the traditional ruler, he was named 8th days after his birth in accordance with tradition.
He wrote: “In accordance with the traditional rites lasting for 21 days with today marking the 8th day, and in keeping to my promise of naming our first prince after my predecessor the 49th Ooni of Ife in the 3rd dynasty of Ife, our prince is hereby named “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II.”
“Pray to God to guide and keep him in fulfillment of his destiny,” he added.
