Retired professional footballer, Osaze Odemwingie has left the internet perplexed after going on an social media rampage against Amara Kanu, the wife of Nigerian football legend Kanu Nwankwo and singer Peter Okoye.
Odemwingie claimed in a long caption on his Instagram page that “it is not our culture to message another man without your husband.” He also shared a photo of Amara with her son lying on a hospital bed then went on to warn the fitness entrepreneur that “destruction is upon her” for sliding into his DM.
Moments after publishing his posts, Amara took to the comment section and asked him to take them down, revealing that her husband is aware of what is going on and have planned to have a conversation with him as a family to which he adhered to.
However, the Nigerian international puzzled his followers ever further when he returned to his Instagram stories to attack P-Square’s Peter over his lottery business and also for organizing a dance challenge.
“@peterpsquare you are robbing people in broad daylight with that your nonsense business and now you want to take even Christmas from them? You no dey fear God at all?,” he captioned a video he re-posted from Peter’s page.
Reacting to the remark, Okoye shared a screenshot of a chat conversation he had with him on his Instagram story while asking his 10 million followers to pray for the ‘brainwashed’ footballer who looked sick and needed help.
“Bro I tried to ignore, but I am so disappointed in you! If you are now close to God does not make you feel others are close to the devil! I own a registered and licensed lottery platform just like every other individual does both here and abroad. But coming to spill this rubbish just because you feel you are now closer to God! Bro my music never brought you close to this your God in particular! Bro you have been Brainwashed Period! You look sick and you need help? Learn to mind your business and focus on that your God and your life! DISAPPOINTED,” Okoye wrote.
Since these incidents, fans have since taken to social media to voice their concerns about Odemwingie’s mental health among other issues he’s rumored to be dealing with.
