Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019: Jacquemus

look 1

Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 is in full swing in the one of the fashion capitals of the world.

The OnoBello.com Fashion and Style Department is doing Show Reports on some select designers showcasing their latest collection this season.

According to a review by Vogue’s  Nicole Phelps, excepts from it reads:”Jacquemus’s proposition for Spring 2019 boiled down to second-skin knits and gauzy wrapped pareus; plunge-front necklines and hip-grazing hems. It was not so different from his Spring collection of a year ago. Weightlessness was next to godliness, and sheerness was even closer. “A fantasy of the Italian Riviera,” he called it, “like something I imagined a long time ago.” That sense of boyish imagination was accentuated by the physics of the runway.

Promenading as they did on sculptural high heels down an old-fashioned raised catwalk, the models looked larger than life. And in many cases we were looking straight up their skirts, a highly uncomfortable position. That said, if his influencer-studded front row is anything to go on (it included the Haim sisters, by the way), many are the women who’ve been seduced by Jacquemus’s sensual vision. This collection will keep them braless and beautiful well into 2019.”
