The presidential election petition tribunal will reportedly hold it’s inaugural sitting today, Wednesday.
TheCable reports that the tribunal will consider four petitions challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory.
Among the petitions is that of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP candidate had faulted The Independent National Commission (INEC) result claims, after it declared Buhari winner of the election.
Atiku faulted INEC’s claim, saying results obtained from INEC’s server shows he got at least 1.6million votes more than Buhari .
The tribunal during the inaugural sitting will set out modalities for operations including dates for hearing.
