The collection, which is based solely on the Nigerian textile – adire {tie & dye in Yoruba}, is structured, retaining the elements of the adire with a touch of evening glamour and featuring puff sleeves, embellished blouses sparked with crystals, sashes, flounces and bows in silks such as gazar and organza and is suited for the most elegant and sophisticated women.

According to the designer, Ade, inspiration for the collection came from his constant travels to Nigeria. He said, “I became interested in this rare textile and was intrigued the way it was made, however I felt it could be made in more luxurious fabrics which would endear it to more people and international appeal”.
