The YBNL crew lead by Olamide Baddo set a new record in the UK for the highest attendance of a Nigerian artist concert organized in the country.
The sold out concert which took place last night was headlined by Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold who entertained over 5000 fans at the Eventim Apollo in London.
With the doors opening early, Dj’s Eni Money, Unbeatable, Neptizzle and Sean alongside the Acenote Band kicked off the evening.
Olamide came on stage and thrilled fans with his hits, however he was unable to give his closing performance as the show had to be stopped due to the large crowd outside of the venue trying to force their way in and with the venue full to capacity security had no choice but to close the doors refusing a hundreds fans entry leaving most of his fans disappointed.
After the show, the “Who You EPP” said he was humbled at the record numbers of fans who came out to see him, though disappointed at the fact that his fans didn’t get to witness the planned end of the show which he had been preparing for that took him months to perfect.
The organizer of the show, Junior Adeosun -CEO of Smade Events said “all attempts made to ensure Olamide gave his final performance including offering to cover any security costs to the venue was not possible as we eventually had to understand the health and safety concerns of the arena owners as the crowd outside continuously rushed
