A road safety official, Mato, has on Monday, said that nineteen people were killed in an auto accident at the Dinyar Madiga village, 85 kilometres away from the state capital of Kano, on Sunday.
According to him, the accident which involved four vehicles, two buses and two cars was as a result of speed and bad road.
He explained that the speeding vehicles collided while trying to dodge potholes, leading to the death of 19 people and seven injured.
