Busola

Singer, Timi Dakolo‘s wife and mother of his children, Busola Dakolo has come out to speak about her rape incident with Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Founder and Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo. Speaking in an interview with prolific journalist, lawyer and media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, Bukola made the allegations that she was raped by the pastor while she was 17, after he posed as a spiritual father to her.

Apparently, the teenage Busola who was still in secondary school came home on holiday and was urged by her sisters to join a classy spiritual gathering known as Divine Delight Club where Christians gather to worship and share the word of God on Saturdays in a refined way, coordinated by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo which later transformed into a proper church now known as COZA.

Recollecting that particular day, she stated that Fatoyinbo came to her house very early one morning after her mum and one of her sisters had traveled, and then raped and disvirgined her after which he told her that “she should be happy a man of God took her virginity”.

You would recall that Timi Dakolo overtime had called out COZA and their leadership  without particularly mentioning Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s name, the singer alleged that pastors in the church are used to coercing young girls and even workers, assaulting them sexually.
