ARISE Fashion Week 2019 has officially come to an end after a 3-day event with top African and international designers showcasing their pieces for the Autumn/Winter 2019 season.

Initially founded in 2007 in the UK by Nkwo Onwuka, the Nkwo relaunched in 2012 as an artisanal brand in Nigeria. Creating pieces that are free spirited and nomadic, their collections are inspired by the lives of the wandering people of the African deserts and the great plains.

The civically acclaimed designer presented a collection which featured a host of high-low designs mixing denim and tie & dye. Taking on oversized frayed denim pants, shorts and jackets, with models wearing traditional caps worn by Eastern Nigerian men.
