On Sunday night, Justin Timberlake returned solo to the Super Bowl halftime stage for the first time since his infamous performance with Janet Jackson back in 2004.
For his third halftime performance (his first was with N*SYNC in 2001), Timberlake sang a medley of some of his biggest hits, including “Sexy Back,” “Cry Me a River,” “Suit & Tie” (complete with a full marching band), and “Mirrors” (accompanied, naturally, by people throughout the stadium holding mirrors).
Timberlake’s also performance included a more intimate moment at a piano, a tribute to Prince, and a dance break with fans.
He also danced expertly down a ramp and finished the spectacle surrounded by a colorful crowd as he sang “Can’t Stop the Feeling”:
