It isn’t just the older generation that is doing great things, we’ve got some pretty amazing young minds too!
Recently, Forbes Magazine released its ’30 Under 30’ list of the brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents and change agents in 20 different sectors from finance, entertainment, music, media and more.
The Shade Room’s Angelica Nwandu and Travel Noire’s Zim Ugochukwu were among the 30 who made the Media list of those defining the world of new and content.
Angelica has revolutionized celebrity gossip with The Shade Room which was recently dubbed the TMZ of Instagram by New York Times. The 25-year old graduate of Loyola Marymount University launched TSR in 2014 and the site has grown to astronomical proportions with a short period.
Also on the list is Travel Noire’s Zim Ugochukwu who launched her travel site in 2013 after struggling to find images of young black travellers like herself on Instagram. The site now boasts a highly engaged social media presence with more than 180,000 Instagram followers, tools and tips to make traveling easier and a weekly online travel show, Travel Noire TV. Ugochukwu is at the forefront of what is being called the Black Travel Movement.
