Thousands Of Nigerians Protest On Workers Day In Lagos Over Chibok Girls Kidnapping – Photos

To mark May 1- Workers Day in Nigeria, Thousands of Nigerian youths have taken to the streets in Lagos in protest of more than 200 female pupils of Federal Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. Among those protesting is Afro beat musician and activist-Seun Kuti, Singer Waje, Y! Naija&#39s Adebola Williams, Fashion Designer Ugonna Omeruo and others.

Local and international news agencies as well as the police are also on the scene.

Hundreds of women yesterday held protest march in Abuja, Ibadan and Kano demanding a decisive action towards rescuing the schoolgirls who have been in Boko Haram activity since April 14.

About 270 girls were taken from their dormitory at the Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State, but around 40 of them fled from their captors in the days after the incident.
