Top 10 New Music Releases Of The Week: Simi, Morell, Terry Tha Rapman, Reminisce, Gbenga Adenuga, Lamboginny And More

It’s often hard to keep up with the Nigerian music Industry with the number of releases one can come across in a week but on the flip side, if there weren’t that much releases from the industry, would we be experiencing the growth the industry enjoy now? Hold that thought while you check out this week’s Top 10 New Music Releases of the Week.

D-No – Burkina Faso

D-NO (Dinisu Onyenokwe) is a Nigerian Hip-Hop artist currently studying Public Policy in Toronto, Canada. D-No’s Burkina Faso incites a movement for social change in Africa.

Partly due to D-NO&#39s heritage and his university course, he felt a desire to use his music not only to entertain people but to spread the right messages to raise awareness of the continued degradation that grips the continent.  He plans to release a compilation called, Conflicted, due for release in the early part of 2013.

A prolific producer who also doubles as a seasoned artiste is the perfect description of Ojiyovbi Ighure with the stage name Oji. Having released a couple of songs underground, he decides to introduce his music to the world with the release of Cigarette accompanied by Zuki who also dropped bars on this Oji-produced beat.
