Update: Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Rises To 35 Across Six States

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has unveiled the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country to be 36.

The figure rose after the healthy agency officially made an announced on Monday that six new cases had been confirmed Earlier today, a breakdown of the figure showed that two cases were confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Lagos respectively.

Among the 36 cases, one case was also confirmed in Edo State. The report stated that 2 cases were returning travellers from the UK.

Similarly, Ogun State has confirmed two cases while Ekiti, Oyo, and Edo States have recorded one case each. NCDC also explained that 33 of the confirmed cases were active while the other two had been discharged.
