The negative drama in Nigeria at the moment just never keeps ending as every new day, a new unfortunate event occurs. While we still grapple with case of the kidnapped school girls from Chibok in Borno State, there was another bomb blast in the SAME Nyanya area of Abuja where one such blast took place just about a fortnight ago and now today, according to multiple eye-witness reports, an unusually heavy presence of military personnel have taken over the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
Earlier today, travelers who just disembarked from flights at Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos were allegedly trapped at the airport for a considerable amount of time, as airport officials couldn’t find the keys of the doors that led to the immigration section.
After finally getting out, the travelers were met with stern looking soldiers who had taken over the airport and prohibited cars from parking around the terminal, leading to travelers having to trek to their vehicles at the car park.
We ask, what is really going on?
