Work Free Day As Borno State Mourns Deputy Governor Zannah

Today was declared a work free and mourning day by the Borno State Government.

This is to allow civil servants and the people of the state attend the third day prayers for the repose of the soul of the state deputy governor, Alhaji Zannah Umar Mustapha, who died in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, Saturday morning, and was buried in Maiduguri in the evening of same day.

Essential services in the health and fire services sectors, are however; not affected by this public holiday.
