Zendaya, Uzo Aduba & More Win Big At The 2020 Emmys | See Full Winners List

On Sunday September 21, the long-awaited 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards was held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic with many of our favorite Hollywood stars gracing the event from the comfort of their home.

The awards were presented from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with no red carpet, no audience and, aside from the presenters, no attendees. Zendaya made history becoming the youngest to win Best Lead Actress in a drama.

Nigeria’s Uzo Aduba also nabbed her third Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a limited series for her role in the FX miniseries Mrs. America. Meanwhile Tyler Perry was this year’s deserved recipient of the special Governorship award.

Other notable wins include, Watchmen‘s Regina King who also made history for winning lead actress in a limited series or movie (her fourth career Emmy) alongside her co-star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who won his first for Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.
