10 Things We Love About #BBNaijaLockdown Housemate Prince & Why You Should Root For Him
Every season of Big Brother Naija comes with very different housemates, but they all still manage to settle into 5 distinct personalities — the goofy, the unbothered, the lover, the quiet observer, the villain and so on.
And just five weeks, these BBNaija Lockdown housemates, however have been able to garner thousands of fans, who will go at great lengths to defend their favourites. But one housemate that has managed to tick all the right boxes, while building up a solid fandom in the process is Prince Nelson Enwerem.
While we gear closer toward the end of the reality TV show, we are picking up some reasons why Prince is a fan favorite and why he deserves to win the coveted 85 Million Naira grand prize.
Did you know that?
- In 2018, Prince beat 19 other contestants to win Mr Nigeria, and later represented the country at the Mr World contest in 2019, making it to the semi-finals.
- Before that Prince who is a graduate of Pure Physics from the University of Calabar was crowned winner of the Face of University Nigeria unisex pageant in 2016.
- He is a man of many talents that he also won the award for the “Most Talented contestant” during the Mr Nigeria pageant.
- For Nelson Enwerem, the name Prince is not just a pseudonym. The BBNaija season 5 contestant is an actual royal; his father HRH Eze Sir. Leo Mike Enwerem is a king. He is the Eze Ebii I of Ebie Land in Imo state.
Prince is a jack-of-all-trades; from modelling and fashion designing to interior decoratio; He can do it all. Oh, and asides being a serial entrepreneur and fashionista, he really is more than a “tripe threat”. We could have easily listed hundreds, but we managed to narrow it down to ten reasons why we think Prince totally rocks!

We can’t deny that Prince’s slay game is always on hundred and he is every ready to dish it to us during Saturday night parties. Whether he’s rocking an agbada or a well-tailored suit, Prince never fails to conquer as a fashion enthusiast that he is.

When he’s not busy killing it during his task presentations and arena games, you can always catch this fitness enthusiast showcasing his many talents on your screen.
Arena Games Champion Prince has won the Betway Arena games so many times, we cannot even keep up. The BBNaija fan favorite has won the hearts of many with his excellent performances during the widely watched Friday games.

Great Team Player
Just as Prince enjoys active sports and reading about ancient religions and African history, he is an awesome team player who gives all his best during house tasks and challenges. This led his team to win the 1 million naira Guinness Smooth Photo Challenge.
Resident Hair Stylist One of the things, Prince has noticeably contributed to the house is his vocational skills, which involves the routine cutting and hair styling of his fellow housemates. Since the first week, he’s devoted time in helping others look good. Now that’s a King!
