The remains of President Buhari’s late Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari has arrived in Abuja to observe the strict protocol put in place by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) for the burial of Coronavirus victims.
Private prayers and burial will be conducted for the deceased as stated by the official spokesman to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu on his twitter handle which was also confirmed by the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media.
“Thereafter, there will be no such ceremonies as condolence visits. Well-meaning friends, family members and the general public are encouraged to pray for the repose of Abba Kyari’s soul. May Allah grant the family and nation the fortitude to bear the loss” Shehu wrote.
