Following the approval of Hon. Victor Giadom as the All Progressive Congress party acting national chairman by a Federal High Court in Abuja, the chieftain on Monday called for a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party as the panacea to the crisis ravaging the party.
Recall that the court on 18 June, 2020 upheld its March 14 decision to appoint Giadom who was then the party deputy national secretary, as the acting chairman.
According to BBC Pidgin, Justice Senchi Bature who presided over the case since March 4, also gave the order that no APC member should prevent him in any way from doing his work as acting national chairman, except the national executive committee.
Mr Giadom took the centre stage in the drama at the NWC of the party when he declared himself the acting national chairman on Wednesday following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole by the Court of Appeal.
