Buhari Assembles 1000 Troops To Zamfara


The Federal Government has sent over 100 military troops comprising of the army, air force, police, and the civil defense to Zamfara state following series of bandits terrorism in its towns and villages and the most recent, on Saturday where 15 persons were kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu who revealed this information said that the Nigerian Air Force had begun the deployment of fighter aircrafts to make immediate response to the menace of the Bandits.

He added that the President had also authorized the engagement by NAF to derive advanced satellite surveillance technology to help in accurate detection of movement and locations of the bandits.

According to Shehu, Buhari  has been taking concrete actions to improve and motivate the military and other security services  as promised during his election campaign.
