Chimamanda Adichie Accuses Anne Giwa-Amu For Plagiarism OnoBello

Critically acclaimed author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has debunked the claims of UK-based Nigerian writer Anne Giwa-Amu that she plagiarized bits of her best selling work, “Half of a Yellow Sun”  from her own book “Sade. United we stand.”

In a video shared via YouTube, Anne had called out the award-winning storyteller along with iconic writer Chinua Achebe, accusing and explaining the role he played in ‘giving’ her work to Chimamanda who had it then rewritten.

She also went ahead to publish a blog that showed evidence of this in her statement of claim, and other documents which validates her claim. However Chimamanda’s agency has taken to Facebook to debunk the rumour.
