October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It is the month when, globally, individuals and institutions come together, in unique ways, to raise awareness on the disease.
This October, Ghanaian Fashion brand Christie Brown is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with the Judith-Ellen Awuah-Darko foundation, an NGO committed to supporting underprivileged breast cancer patients, on The Live Pink Campaign.
Here are feature stories of strength and hope highlighting these four phenomenal women, Mrs. Judith- Ellen Awuah- Darko, Mrs Nana Yaa Monica Oppong, Mrs Salley Abbey and Mrs Agnes Afrakomado.
In further honour of these remarkable women, Christie Brown will launch an exclusive line of accessories which will directly support healthcare for breast cancer patients through the Judith-Ellen Awuah-Darko foundation.
The line will feature gracefully designed limited edition button bibs with pink beads and wax print buttons; as well as the limited edition pink stencil bib, detailed with pink feathers and wax print buttons. Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of these accessories will be donated to the efforts of the foundation as we upraise and celebrate the strength and courage of breast cancer survivors throughout the world.
The limited edition pieces will be available at the brand’s flagship store in Accra from 13th October to the end of the month.
