COVID-19 Lockdown: Lagosians Lament As Criminals Continue To Terrorize Communities

Lagos residents have continued to express their frustration online for the third time in three consecutive days, after reports of robbery cases perpetrated by suspected cultists and hoodlums hit neighborhoods.

The latest comes a few hours after President Buhari extended the lockdown over coronavirus in the state. Some of the affected places include Gowon Estate, Ejigbo, Igando, Ikotun, Oshodi and some other mainland communities.

Residents of these communities cried out for help over the attack they were subjected to, in spite of the lockdown order issued by federal government. Videos shared online by social media users also showed little or no police presence at the time of the attack.
