COVID-19: Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Confirms Infection Toll Is Now 63,508

NCDC Responds To Akwa Ibom State OnoBello

180 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded across the country on Thursday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced.

Taking to Twitter, the disease agency noted that the new cases were confirmed in 14 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In the new update, Lagos, the country’s epicenter leads with 87 infections. Followed by Oyo-51, FCT-12, Plateau-10, Edo-4, Ekiti-3, Ogun-3, Bauchi-2, Kaduna-2, Niger-2, Kano-1, Ondo-1, Osun-1, Rivers-1.

There are now 63,508 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country and 1, 155 deaths have been recorded. 59,748 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
