There was a lot of glamour and loads of fashionable celebrities to appreciate at the AfricaMagic’s 10th Anniversary celebration event which took place at the Landmark Village in Victoria Island, Lagos yesterday, Thursday 5 December 2013.

The event kicked off with a 30 minute red carpet show, anchored by the 53 Extra team led by Eku Edewor. Followed by a special 90 minute edition of StarGist, hosted by Vimbai Mutinhiri and Lawrence Maleka plus a special appearance by Big Brother Africa host; IK Osakioduwa.

Ghanaian songstress Efya performed at the Africa Magic at 10 event, but before she did that she looked absolutely gorgeous on leaving home for the event in a creation by Nigerian design fashion brand, Wana Sambo. This piece was showcased at the most recent Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

Model Makida Moka was spotted in a custom made piece by fashion Icon and self-named brand Ituen Basi. This piece is famously called the “Newspaper” dress, skirt or pants and is uniquely done with what appears to be newspaper print. Gorgeous.

Red Carpet host for the night and TV presenter for 53 Extra, Eku Edewor looked stunning as usual in a Bridget Awosika creation that has also been previously showcased at the recent Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

This one is more of a lookbook to real life look and tts Eku Edewor again, this time choosing and changing into a piece by Lisa Folawiyo’s Jewel By Lisa brand. The piece she chose is from the Nigerian label’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection and it is a mish-mash of colours and print.

We also spotted Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere on the red carpet in what also appears to be a custom made outfit by emerging designer, Weiz Dhurm Franklyn. A similar piece to what she is wearing was showcased at the recent Lagos Fashion & Design Week.
