Emmanuel Babayaro, Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Daniel Amokachi And Other Superstars Play For Life

Pan African health and relief organization Friends Africa in partnership with Emmanuel Babayaro (Friends Africa’s Goodwill Ambassador) present Superstars Play for Life, a novelty football match which will be used to commemorate the 2012 World AIDS Day.

The football match which will be played at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island, on the 1st of December 2012 at 3pm will leverage on the natural convening power of Football to create a viable platform to deliver health education and AIDS awareness campaign.

The match will be played between two teams namely: Team Eagles which comprises of ex-Super Eagles member, Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Celestine Babayaro, Emmanuel Babyaro (Friends Africa Goodwill Ambassador), Mutiu Adepoju, Emmanuel Amunike, Mobi Oparaku, Emeka Ezeugo, Ben Akwuegbu, Abdul Isah, Tijjani Babangida, Taribo West, Teslim Fatusi and Taiwo Enegwa.

Team Celebrities consist of Nollywood actors and artistes amongst which are; M.I, 9ice , Segun Arinze, Gordons, Faze, Ice Prince, Yemi Blaq, Dr. Sid, Yul Edochie , John Njama, Femi Brainard , Nonso Diobu, Uti Nwachukwu , Olamide, Sound Sultan, John Dumelo, Klint da Drunk, Afeez Ayetoro (Saka), Chinedu Ikedieze (AKI), Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), Wande Coal, Sexy Steel , Magnito , ID Cabasa  and Eboh Bomb.

The officials of the match including coaches and referees will be people living with HIV/AIDS who will also be among the special guest.
