From Runway To Red Carpet! Celebrities At AMVCA Show How To Rock Designer Pieces

We’ve already covered most of the fashion from the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards night, but there are still a lot of things to show from that night; like some of the celebrities who rocked pieces off the runway. Some ensembles seem to suit the runway and not the Red Carpet but we’ll let you decide.

Genevieve Nnaji In ‘April By Kunbi’

The pretty actress wore a second dress at the AMVCA that was created by ‘April By Kunbi’ and showcased as part of the collection from the 2012 Music Meets Runway. She swept her hair up casually and used minimal jewelry with bangles, drop earrings, and a beige clutch.

Beverly Naya Wearing ‘Moofa’

Beverly Naya wore a piece by Moofa that was shown also at the 2012 Music Meets Runway. Beverly Naya had her hair in a high bun, complemented with a full fringe. She also had minimal jewelry choosing simple drop earrings, rings and a gold hard clutch.

Jim Iyke In David Bowler

Also from the 2012 Music Meets Runway, this piece was shown by David Bowler and Jim Iyke personified his look with Black tasseled loafers, a black rose brooch, and a checkered pocket square. Let’s not forget the big black sun glasses.

Eku Edewor In Clan

The Clan label is still fairly new, owned by the Sagoe sisters. This black criss-cross halter neck dress worn by Eku Edewor was showcased at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week 2012. Eku kept things simple with bold red lips and ankle strap sandals.

Toke Makinwa In Shakara Couture

Toke Makinwa has been strutting the red carpet with exquisite looks of late. She has on a number by Shakara Couture and paired the elaborate dress simply with black pumps and a black clutch.

Vivian Oputa In Peter Pilotto

Vivian Oputa is seen in a classy look with blouse and skirt by Peter Pilotto, a piece that debuted from his Fall 2012 Collection. She accessorized with a silver cross pendant necklace, blue print pumps and a black and gold clutch.
