Denike SS19

Combining Western motifs with traditional Nigerian styling techniques, Denike showcased a comprehensive collection at the just concluded LFW consisting of both simple and dramatic designs.

Linking the past to the future, Denike channels Yoruba heroine, Queen Moremi for SS19 by re-imagining her, transported to the 21st century and the wardrobe in which she would navigate our globalized world.

The rigidity of aso oke and ankara fabrics were used to contrast the flowing waves of the silk bases, creating pieces that stood out amongst the rest. See the full collection below:
