Here’s How Nollywood Stepped Out For The Premiere Of “Omo Ghetto (The Saga)”
After months of filming and dropping attention-grabbing teasers on social media, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele-Bello finally had a private screening for her much-anticipated movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga) on Sunday, December 20.
The event was attended by several colleagues in the movie industry and many made sure to stick to the “Ghetto Fabulous” theme of the day. Akindele who was the center of attention showed up look extra flashy in a pair of ripped jeans matched with a colourful denim jacket. She also dyed her hair to a bold blonde colour.
Other guests who were in attendance rocked colourful hairstyles, excessive use of jewellery, colourful and flamboyant fashion while there were others who managed to still keep their look classy and in line with the theme.
Richard Mofe-Damijo, Mo Abudu, Chioma Akpotha, Joke Silva, Don Jazzy, Toke Makinwa, Bimbo Thomas, Eniola Badmus, Stephanie Coker, Denola Grey, Uti Nwachukwu, Beverly Naya, Alexx Ekubo, Bisola Aiyeola were among those spotted in attendance.
The latest instalment in the ‘Omo Ghetto’ film franchise is the first project that Funke Akindele will officially co-direct with her music executive husband, JJC Skillz. It follows the story of twin sisters leading separate lives but are reunited by series of dramatic twists.
