JZO is a Nigerian Menswear Fashion Brand that is redefining the context of African traditional menswear by creating contemporary and urban designs based on foundation of Traditional Nigerian Cultural Themes. We’ve carved a niche for ourselves by our use of handmade and sourced traditional fabrics, which are crafted into clean, sophisticated modern Pieces.
In 2017, the brand released Tokunbo, their Wet (A/W)’ 17 Collection, Creative Director, Ola Akindeinde, drew inspiration from East Asian marshall themes. The name Tokunbo, which literally translates to “from across the seas” in Yoruba Language, describes the creative process articulated by the Collection, retaining all the elements that have come to define JZO!
