The actress wants to give up her part in front of the camera and stay back behind it in the future – which is just plain sad.
Angelina Jolie has admitted while she finds it “tricky” directing her husband Brad Pitt – she’s willing to give up acting to do it.
The Hollywood actress has previously dropped the bombshell she’s wanting to give up acting for good, but now she’s finally explained her reasons – admitting she’s “uncomfortable” in front of the camera.
We never noticed.
“I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera,” she told DuJour Magazine (http://dujour.com/news/angelina-jolie-jack-oconnell-unbroken-interview-pictures/). “I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.”
But talking about starring with Brad in By The Sea, she said: “The tricky thing is directing myself and directing Brad. It’s hard, dramatic material, and we’re balancing.”
The pair began filming shortly after their secret wedding – so it stepped in as a sort of honeymoon for them.
“It’s a heavy film, and it’s not easy for us,” Ang told DuJour. “But even as you struggle through it, you’re in the trenches together and you don’t expect it to be easy. We’re challenging each other and that’s a really good thing.”
She appears on the magazine cover looking her usual smouldering self along with Unbroken co-star Jack O’Connell.
