One of the Lagos branches of popular commercial financial institution, Access Bank has been gutted by fire on Wednesday morning.
The bank who updated the public on social media, stated that a part of the bank’s building was affected from the incident which was caused petrol tanker discharging fuel.
There has been a fire incident at our Adetokunbo Ademola branch this morning. Thankfully, no one was harmed.
Our fire protocol has been activated and all personnel have been moved to safety.

They also noted that fire protocol have been affected and staffs have since been moved to safety. The also advised customers to avoid the affected area, directing them to other locations.
The Federal Fire Service also confirmed the incident at 10.20 am which occurred at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island. “Our men are on the ground, trying to combat the inferno. Thanks for notifying us,” they tweeted.
