Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016 in a glittering ceremony held in the United States on Sunday.

The 19-year-old model defeated 116 contestants across the globe, making her the second Miss World to hail from Puerto Rico.

Dominican Republic’s Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez was named first runner-up, while Natasha Mannuela from Indonesia won second runner-up.

Nigeria’s representative Debbie Chinasa Collins– the First Runner Up of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2015/2016 unfortunately did not make it to the top 20.
