Nigeria Draws Algeria, Cameroon, Zambia For 2018 World Cup Qualifiers


The Super Eagles of Nigeria were on Friday placed alongside Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia in Group B for the Africa Zone Qualification Round 3 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

This was the outcome of the draw held at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt.

In Group A are Tunisia, Libya, Congo DR and Guinea while Group C has Gabon, Mali, Cote D ‘ Ivoire and Morocco. Senegal, South Africa, Burkina Faso and Cape Verde were all placed in Group D. Group E has Ghana, Egypt, Congo and Uganda.

Only the group winners will qualify for the finals scheduled to hold in Russia.
