Nigeria’s COVID-19 Toll Near 60,000 As Infections Rise By 118

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 118 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 59,583.

Announcing this on Tuesday night, the disease agency’s update were unveiled as follows; Lagos-41, Rivers-19, Osun-17, Nasarawa-13, Kaduna-5, Anambra-5, Edo-3.

Others are; Ogun-3, Kwara-3, Ondo-3, Katsina-2, Niger-2, Plateau-1, Akwa Ibom-1. A total of 59,583 cases have been confirmed with 51,308 discharged patients and 1,113 deaths recorded so far.
