Anita of the “The Kitchen Organizer” has a new recipe you might want to try out this week, and it’s called – Corn on the Cob with Garlic Butter.
She says, “Look, whether as a side dish a snack or even a main this garlic butter corn is to die for, PERIOD! I bought my corn from the supermarket and it cost a little over N900 for 4 big ears of corn.
“I haven tried this with local corn from street sellers but I suspect it’ll be the same, you may just have to boil for longer. You can add sugar while boiling your corn, I didn’t need to as this corn was really sweet by itself.
Also, the reason I wrapped the corn in foil before putting it in the oven is so that the butter will just melt right into it without loosing the moisture and juiciness of the corn. I had mine for dinner with fries and grilled Turkey! ”
- 4 ears of Corn
- 1 cup of Milk
- 1 knob of Butter
- 1 Tsp of Salt
- 1Tsp of Garlic (heapful)
