Hello Style Revolutionists, this week, one of Nollywood’s biggest faces, Rita Dominic Nwaturuocha is our fashionista of the week!

Rita needs no introduction. She is an A-list star in Nollywood whose work over the years has earned her numerous accolades in Nigeria and beyond. She has featured in over 60 movies and runs a successful film production company, The Audrey Silver Company with her friend Mildred Okwo.

The 41-year-old who recently got featured on CNN African Voices award, is arguably one of Nollywood’s most stylish actresses. From red carpet moments at movie premieres, to award shows, concerts and weddings; the actress always wears stunning and stylish looks.

On her inspiration in her life as an actor, she says:

My mum always used to tell me. You can be whatever you want to be, don’t let anybody tell you otherwise and that resonated with me because at a time in secondary school when I’d have conversation with my friends you know we’d talk about what we wanted to do in the future and we would say, I wanted to study theatre arts and they would look at me and be like- where do you want to work with that.

They would be like – you are not going to get any jobs and I didn’t see anything wrong with that. And I would be like this people cannot tell me I cannot study theatre arts. Who are you to tell me what I can do or can’t do?
