Residents in Ifo, Ogun state have been forced into self-defense after the Police allegedly noted that they can not affect any more arrests due to the unavailability of space in their cells.
This came to light after accused them of refusing to show up after they were called upon by the residents when a thief was caught in the community.
According to reports, a Twitter user @iamMotola, who was in an estate to rob but got caught by residents was reported to the police yesterday the 11th of April, 2020 but the officers on duty, however, told the residents their cell was full and they couldn’t take in more offenders.
Caught one in our Estate this evening and the other one escaped….Fact be told; we called the Police and they said cell is Full💔 This is disheartening, we’re not safe !!!
