President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted alongside many other public figures to the untimely passing of Mrs. Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo, wife of Pastor Itua Ighodalo of Trinity House Church and popular Lagos event planner who passed away today June 14.
In a statement released on the Presidency’s official Twitter page, the President said he shares the pain and sorrow of the family over the sudden death and prays God’s comfort for the entire family, friends, and members of Trinity House.
He recalled that Pastor Ighodalo is one person who faithfully prays for the country, and the government, noting that he sent him a personal letter of condolence when his former Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, passed away in April.
Former Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili amongst other politicians also expressed her disbelief to Ibidun’s death. Oby wrote “Life! Ibidun Ighodalo? Just gone ……. like a candle in the wind. May God comfort our very dear Pastor Ituah and rest of family in the way that only He can in Jesus name.”
Other Nigerians including Toke Makinwa, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Debola Williams and many others have taken to social media to mourn her. See their posts below.

Why do good people have to leave us so soon? The news of Ibidun Ighodalo's passing breaks my heart.
A woman with a heart of Gold. Beautiful on the inside and outside.
This is painful for me so I can't even imagine the pain her family feel.
You will be missed. 💔😥😥😢
