Nigerian-born designer, Duro Olowu’s collaboration with US Retailer JC Penny has been circulating the fashion world for months, and with a preview of the lookbook for the debut collection, Nigeria’s fashion world is set to make a merger that would leave the world buzzing.
The ad campaign for the collection would be headlined another Nigerian that is making waves globally, supermodel Oluchi. Duro Olowu would be the first seasonal designer for JC Penny as they release a limited-edition collection for spring 2013. The collection would be realised in March 2013.

Grosvenor Mayfair London, a company renowned for producing collections of stylish shirts and distinctive accessories, is to be granted a Royal Warrant to Her Majesty, The Queen of England. This was announced by the company founder, Karl Dunkley.
There are around 850 companies that hold The Royal Warrant and this covers a diverse range of trade and industry. Recently Grosvenor Mayfair London joined that list
The Grosvenor collection is designed and made in London, combining English sartorial tradition with a contemporary age. They focus of ready-to-wear and made-to-measure shirts that are classically elegant for both genders and all ages. The multi-talented star has made a ground-breaking deal with MAC Cosmetics and is geared to have multiple collections of color cosmetics that will roll out later this year.
One of the products to be launched is the RiRi Woo, a lipstick inspired by her favourite MAC red, Ruby Woo. The release would be on May 4 and 5 2013 as MAC opens a pop-up shop on the first night to showcase the line.
